Gabriel is definitely a serial and cross-cutting entrepreneur. During his career he has led various businesses in the electronics, food, restaurants and Internet industries. Among the Startups founded by Gabriel are: DreamLine, Snapp, Tambo and Panko restaurant chains, and also achieved an important exit with The FoodLinks, a company acquired in 2012 by the Peruvian bank BCP. Since 2011, he has been President of Cuponatic LATAM, the most successful e-commerce company created in Chile.
Gabriel is an Industrial and Electrical Engineer, in addition to a postgraduate degree in exponential technologies from Singularity University. His career has always been linked to the world of technologies and innovation, being his early job at Intel in California a tipping point from where he begins to develop his vision of how to impact and accelerate the development of new businesses and contribute to the growth of LATAM economies by encouraging the emergence of Startups leveraged in the digital world and other emerging technologies.
Regarding the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Ecosystem, he has collaborated as an advisor for dozens of entrepreneurs and actively participated in the development of the main Latin American acceleration and incubation platforms for Startups. He is currently Board Member for Chile Global Angels (LATAM’s most recognized angel investors network), Mentor for Founder Institute and advisor to Board at Mustakis Foundation.
As for his role as a speaker, Gabriel has coined a straightforward and simple style to convey technical and complex concepts to all types of audiences, from business executives, entrepreneurs, university students and even covering the world of social organisations, political authorities, etc. Showing the technological change in the next 5 to 10 years and how it will impact all areas of human endeavor.
