    Jamie Woodruff Speaker Biography

Cybersecurity speaker Jamie Woodruff serves as Metrix Cloud Ltd’s technical director. Metrix is a cyber security agency that specializes in cyber security and hacked websites training.  Jamie received his education at Bangor University. Many people regard him as a top specialist in cyber-security. Moreover, he works with banks, security agencies, and corporations worldwide.

Jamie failed all of his GCSEs except IT, for which he received an A* thanks to his computing expertise. It was only at college that he was diagnosed with Dyslexia and Dyspraxia. These had gone undiscovered throughout his academic life thus far.

Jamie was not happy with his college experience and decided to pursue a career as an IT programmer. When Jamie was at work one day, he realized he had so much more to give, so he began looking into attending university.

Dr. Stephen Marriot, the university’s admissions tutor, interviewed Jamie, whose technical expertise and professional experience were enough to get him into Bangor. Thanks to such a personal interview, Marriot saw Jamie’s potential for success and eagerness to learn.

Speaker Jamie Woodruff first gained attention after he managed to hack Facebook during a competition at Bangor University. Since then, he has traveled the world searching for security flaws for various companies like Twitter, YouTube, Google, Apple, Daily Mail, NewAer, PlusNet, The TrainLine, Simple, and Microsoft. He also went on to discover security weaknesses of several Government institutions and Kim Kardashian’s website.

Cybersmile has added Jamie to its advisory team as a Cyber-Safety expert who works on creating instructional tools and materials. The Cybersmile Foundation is a non-profit anti-cyberbullying group that has won numerous awards.
